Boy shot and man found stabbed in Rugby

A 17-year-old boy has been shot and an 18-year-old man stabbed in rugby.

The 17-year-old was hurt at an address in Oxford Street at about 20:55 GMT on Thursday. The 18-year-old was found with a knife wound by emergency services staff at the scene.

They were both taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A number of people were in the property at the time, police said. Officers are appealing for them to come forward.

They are thought to have left the back of the property and gone along Argyle Street and Cambridge Street.
