1. It was Thermos flasks. The Independent newspaper reported that the ban on the containers, first brought in last year, was now being "rigorously enforced" for "security reasons".
2. It was Peanut, suspected to be a cross between a chihuahua and a shih tzu, who won the $1,500 (£880) first prize.
