Answers
- It was stabbed 42 times in Belgium. Local people subsequently came together to protect it at night. The owners say it has been deflated in Hong Kong for maintenance work.
- It's an alleged supermarket thief's midnight feast. Trevor Runyon is said to have been found sleeping off the meal in a ValuMarket in Kentucky, US. Following his release, former cabinet minister Chris Huhne had a full English breakfast at a motorway cafe, with artist Grayson Perry.
- It's water. The water, more than a billion years old, pours out of boreholes in a copper and zinc mine under northern Ontario, Canada. Scientists are testing it for signs of life.
- It's using Twitter. Sheikh Abdul-Latif al-Sheikh strongly criticised the rising number of users in the country.
- It's rival Dr Who and Star Wars fans. They were spoken to by Norwich police after falling out at a sci-fi convention. A conservation group says it is worried about the traffic impact of a new Scientology centre in Birmingham. And Labour peer Lord Mitchell has fallen out with neighbours over a basement extension.
- It's a Kentucky Fried Chicken family meal. A delivery firm has set up to take the meals through tunnels under the tightly controlled border. "Sometimes Hamas checks meals, sometimes the taxi picking up Sinai orders is late," a spokesman said.
- It's Coca-Cola. The company, which traces the origins of the drink to a 19th century patent medicine, says its formula of natural ingredients is a closely-held trade secret, kept in a vault at its World of Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta.
